Clearview Skylights Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies clearviewskylightspeterborough.co.uk uses, and how you can control them.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage and requests that load content, such as map images, from another server. The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) require a website to tell you about these and to ask your consent for anything that is not strictly necessary. How we handle the personal information behind them is set out in our privacy policy.

As the site is built, it sets no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies of its own.

Reading about roof lanterns, roof windows or sun tunnels on this site does not place a visitor-counting or advertising cookie in your browser, and there is no advertising pixel on the pages. If Clearview Skylights Peterborough decides to add analytics in future, this policy will be updated before any analytics cookies are added, and a consent choice will be put in front of you where the law requires one.

The site runs on WordPress, which sets functional cookies only for people logged in to manage the site.

If you are simply reading pages, you will not receive these. They are listed so the policy is complete.

These are strictly necessary for the people who use them, so they do not need consent under PECR.

Three features on the site involve another company's service, and each is described plainly here.

The enquiry form

The survey form on our pages is an embedded form provided by Mortaro CRM, loaded from mortaro-crm-production.up.railway.app. Because it loads from that address, your browser connects to that service when a page with the form opens. The form provider may use strictly necessary cookies or storage to make the form work and to protect it from spam. Anything you type into the form is covered by our privacy policy.

The WhatsApp button

The WhatsApp button is a link. It sets no cookie on our site. When you tap it, WhatsApp opens with a short message already filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send. Once you are in WhatsApp, its own cookie and privacy policies apply.

Maps

Some pages show a map of the area we cover. The map is drawn by Leaflet, a script hosted on our own server, and the map images (tiles) are loaded from OpenStreetMap's tile servers. Loading a tile sends your IP address and browser details to the tile server, in the same way that loading any image from another website does. This does not place an advertising cookie in your browser.

The typefaces, scripts and stylesheets on the site are served from our own server.

Because the fonts are self-hosted, opening a page does not send your details to a font service. Photos and diagrams are also served from our own server.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and the public pages will still work.

• Most browsers let you see stored cookies and delete them for a single site or for all sites.
• You can set your browser to block third-party cookies, which covers content loaded from another domain.
• Private or incognito browsing clears cookies when you close the window.

Blocking cookies does not stop you reading our guides or answers. If you block the embedded form's storage and it will not submit, you can email info@clearviewskylightspeterborough.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp instead, or use the details on our contact page.

Clearview Skylights has no public premises. We come to you for every survey and installation, and all contact is through the survey form, email or WhatsApp.

We will update this policy whenever the cookies or services on the site change, and before any analytics cookies are introduced.

This policy was last updated in September 2026. If you have a question about cookies on this site, email info@clearviewskylightspeterborough.co.uk.
